About me

Helping children grow—with movement, trust and mindfulness.

I work as a primary-school and PE teacher. At my school, I offer age-appropriate yoga courses for children in grades 1 to 6. I combine movement, breathing games, guided imagery, sound and relaxation with my teaching experience. Within the school setting, I also occasionally lead yoga and relaxation sessions for colleagues.

What drives me

Why I teach

From my own experience, I know how much teachers can shape a child when they see more than grades, recognise strengths and support difficulties without adding pressure. I want primary school to be a safe place for development, where every child can learn at their own pace and be seen as a whole person.

Why movement

Movement has been part of my life since childhood—from inline skating, skateboarding and football to ten years in a football club, my degree in sports and the badminton I play today. Movement supports health, body awareness and confidence and is an important foundation for children’s development and learning.

Why yoga

Yoga is much more than physical postures. The eightfold path of yoga brings together attitude, movement, breathing, concentration and meditation. For children and adults alike, it offers ways to notice the body, work with tension and move between activity and rest.

Three trainings, three special places of learning

My training took me to Bali in Indonesia, Rishikesh in India and Berlin. All three trainings are certified by Yoga Alliance. They help me bring movement, breathing, awareness and relaxation into my work responsibly and in an age-appropriate way.

Growing at your own pace

A tree needs strong roots, movement and time. “Inner Tree” represents inner stability and development. “Flow” means finding your own rhythm between learning, movement and rest.

For me, this is not about pressure to perform, but about body awareness, joy, community and small moments of calm.
